APS NOIDA Celebrates 30 Years of Excellence Raising Day

Army Public School, NOIDA commemorated its 30th Raising Day on 02 September 2024. The event was graced by the presence of Brigadier Harbir Singh, Commander 261 Artillery Brigade and Chairman APS NOIDA, as the Chief Guest, and Ms Namrata Kaur, an educationist and homemaker, as the Guest of Honour. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests, followed by a captivating performance by the school choir, invoking the blessings of the Almighty and a welcome dance performed by the talented students of APS NOIDA. The school's student achievers presented a green welcome to the Chief Guests and other dignitaries.

The Principal, Ms Indrani Neogi, extended a warm and gracious welcome to all the esteemed attendees on behalf of APS NOIDA. Representatives from the Primary Wing then took the audience on a journey through the school's inception and ethos, reflecting on its remarkable history.

On this occasion, the latest edition of the annual school magazine, Imprints 2023-24, was unveiled, acknowledging the dedication of the student editors, teachers and contributors who devoted countless hours to its creation. Additionally, APS NOIDA proudly launched the third anthology of short stories by its students, Whispers of Wonder, in collaboration with Scholastic, a leading international publisher of books for young readers.

The students of APS NOIDA presented a graceful interpretation of "Aileron" through a dance and drama performance. The act symbolized the aileron, a crucial component of an aircraft, and highlighted the importance of balance, focus and deliberate actions in navigating the winds of change toward achieving one's goals.

The event concluded with a felicitation and prize distribution ceremony honoring the meritorious students of the session 2023-24 for their academic excellence. This was followed by an inspiring address by alumna Ms. Gitanjali Wadehra, and the Chief Guest, Brigadier Harbir Singh. The ceremony was formally closed with the rendition of the National Anthem.
