Biology is an open-ended subject,the study of which is incomplete unless the theories taught in the class are put to test in the laboratory. The Physics Laboratory at APS, Noida is well equipped with the latest paraphernalia for providing hands on experience to the students in the field of optics, mechanics, electricity and electronics. It reinforces the knowledge gained by the students in the theory classes.The laboratory also helps them develop experimental and analytical skills through direct observation and activities.

Chemistry laboratory at APS NOIDA is well equipped to facilitate practical work in the fields of analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. The department has state-of-the-art facilities to conduct practical and project work in absolutely safe environment. It is a place to explore, enjoy and also understand the responsibility of handling equipment and chemicals with care and attention. The environment and setting of the lab nurtures the intuitive and inquisitive minds of the students, enhancing their zest to make scientific enquiries. The faculty and the lab assistant provide a conducive atmosphere of learning, not just in theory but by applying it practically. It’s a place where students love and enjoy unwinding the mysteries of chemistry.

The objective of ATL is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc. ATL contains “do it yourself” kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open source microcontroller boards, sensors and 3D printers etc. Students get an opportunity to work with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The lab gives an opportunity to the students to explore skills such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence. It is a place where the students can safely put their ideas to practice and see them turn into reality!
The ATL lab was inaugurated by Mrs. Mini Ragesh, Sr Director FWO on 29th Apr 2019. It was established in the school with the financial grant received from the NITI Aayog.

The school has two separate computer labs at primary Senior School levels so that every student can keep abreast with IT enhanced learning programmes. They gain proficiency and dexterity in current technology with optimized supportive infrastructure with the latest hardware and software and a team of extremely competent staff. The school is committed to a progressive and evolving approach to ensure that our students have the advantage of being familiar with up to date technology advances in IT based educational initiatives.
The computer labs are equipped with high-end personal-computing workstations, projectors and multimedia devices, with access to internet. LCD/Smart Boards are strategically placed to suit the convenience of each learner in the class.
These labs are used for hands on learning and wide practical exposures, personalised learning tools for other subjects apart from online tests/surveys/competitions. A wide spectrum of domain based open source software packages, such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Animation Interface, Open Office Suite, Application and Game Development Programs, platforms are available for learners.
The students of classes 9 to 12 learn high level programming in PYTHON, MySQL and those in classes 8 to 10 learn Artificial Intelligence.
There is a wide platform for our children to not only explore IT frontiers as a subject, but to ingeniously explore and make forays into IT supported art medium in the field of designing , photography and movie making.

A language laboratory is a dedicated space for developing proficiency in the English language, where students have access to audio and audio-visual materials. The teacher listens to and manages student audio, which is delivered to individual students through headsets.
The school is well-equipped with a modern and fully functional Language Lab. The students are assigned computer systems and headsets to facilitate individual learning at their own pace, providing them with opportunities to hone all four language skills – Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The Wordsworth English Language software is installed to help students learn the nuances of English language.

The composite lab at Army Public School, NOIDA, seeks to involve children of the primaryschool inMathematics and Science – related practical work in an informal way.The idea of linking Mathematics and Science with materials of common use is the basic principle underlining the work done in the composite lab.
The Composite Lab is well equipped with furniture and apparatus related to the curriculum of the students. The lab is well equipped with spacious high tables along with high stools to provide a comfortable work space and can accommodate about 40 students at a time. The school encourages the students to learn through experiments, play-way method, hands-on activities and games.
Our endeavour is to provide opportunities for the children to work with their own hands and acquire confidence in handling tools and materials, while carrying out for themselves simple, improvised experiments.

Maths Lab at Army Public School NOIDA aims to change the way Mathematics has been taught till now. The approach is towards student-centric explorative learning while making Mathematics learning hands-on. The Lab is based on the three pillars of ‘Imagination, Investigation and Interaction’, as it provides an opportunity to students to understand, internalize, discover and verify the basic mathematical and geometrical concepts through concrete objects, situations while using different materials.

Mathematics lab also aids in technologically aided learning through online tools like Geogebra, Online Geoboard, Isometric Drawing tool, Polypad, Mathigonand more. It is the perfect place for the students for Experiential and Art Integrated Learning. The practical use of knowledge fortifies the theoretical concepts taught in class. For better understanding, they also make working models, which in turn enhances understanding of mathematical concepts develops their manual skills and increases their interest in the subject

Home science can be defined as ‘Education for better living’. It explores the plausibility of the establishment of the perfections in the social orders starting from the home life to the community level. Home Science is the education for improved living and the core of this education is the “family ecosystem”. It is the study of reciprocal relations between the family and its natural and man-made environments.
Home Science lab at APS Noida is spacious, well-ventilated and caters to the interests of students of different age groups. Important life skills are learnt here apart from the students honing their culinary skills, learning the basics of home upkeep, hygiene, diet and nutrition, among others. The lab is equipped with all the paraphernalia required for the Home Science classes.
