On 10 September 2024,
the students of Class IX conducted a special assembly themed ‘Tarangini – A
Journey of a Life,’ symbolizing the journey of a river and the challenges it
encounters along its course. The famous poem ‘Fear’ by Khalil Gibran was
highlighted to illustrate how a river overcomes its fear by adopting a new
perspective.
The assembly, held in
the school auditorium, was honored by the presence of Guests of Honour Ms.
Malini Narayanan, Principal of Army Public School, Shankar Vihar, and Lt. Col.
Gurpreet Kaur, SO-1 Education, HQ 2 Corps, along with members of the Annual
Administration and Technical Inspection Team.
The event commenced
with a warm welcome by the emcees, followed by a thought for the day and news. The
theme was creatively expressed through a vibrant dance performance, with
dancers dressed in colorful costumes symbolizing the river's continuous flow
and the journey of life, characterized by twists and turns. The emcees
skillfully guided the program, captivating the audience throughout.
The Principal Ms.
Indrani Neogi addressed the gathering, commending the hard work and creativity
of the students. She also expressed gratitude to the Guests of Honour for their
presence and offered words of encouragement to motivate the students. The
assembly concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
