A special assembly was organized on 13
November 2024 at Army Public School,
NOIDA to mark the 150th Birth
Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The assembly, held across both wings
of the school, focused on enlightening students about Birsa Munda's pivotal
role in the Indian nationalist movement and his resistance against British
colonial rule.
The assembly also emphasized the observance
of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,
highlighting the contributions of tribal leaders. Narrations delivered by
students underscored the values of courage, resilience and unity, which were
embodied by these leaders.
The event not only provided students with
historical insights but also helped them understand the transformative impact
of these leaders’ struggles in shaping the modern world. The assembly served as
a fitting tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda and an inspiring celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, ensuring that
the legacy of tribal communities continues to inspire future generations.
