On 14 November 2024, the school celebrated Children's
Day with enthusiasm in both the Senior and Primary Wings, commemorating
the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day was marked by vibrant
assemblies and performances that fostered a spirit of joy and unity.
In the Senior Wing, the celebration commenced with an engaging
presentation by Ms. Bhagwati Bisht,
followed by a prayer performed by the teachers. Mr. Naman Modi delivered a thought-provoking message on the
significance of nurturing childhood. The assembly included a news segment by Ms. Babita Rani, showcasing student
achievements, and a musical medley by the teachers' choir, which was followed
by a group dance. A skit presented by the teachers humorously depicted
classroom moments, reinforcing the bond between students and teachers. The Principal distributed awards to
students in recognition of their achievements, and the event concluded with the
National Anthem.
In the Primary Wing, the celebrations began with a prayer, followed by an
inspiring thought shared by Ms. Madhu
Bisaria and a news bulletin by Ms.
Kritika Dogra. Teachers showcased their talents through a variety of
performances, including a group dance, fashion show, solo song by Ms. Sayanti Singh and a duet dance by Ms. Varsha Lad and Mr. Aman Singh. The Principal distributed prizes to
students for their excellence, and the event was skillfully anchored by Ms. Sonia Kapoor and Ms. Vasundhara Awasthi.
The Children’s Day celebrations across both
wings were a fitting tribute to the spirit of childhood, fostering a sense of
community, joy and patriotism among students and staff members.
