A webinar on career opportunities in the defence sector was held on 20 December 2024 for Classes XI-XII students. The session aimed to provide comprehensive insights into various career paths within the defence industry, including traditional military roles and emerging fields like defence technology, cyber security, research and administration.

The resource person, Mr. Shishir Dixit, an experienced psychologist and Chairman of Centurion Defence Academy, shared his expertise on the qualifications, skills and training required for defence careers. He discussed the evolving nature of these roles, particularly with advancements in technology and emphasized the importance of physical fitness, leadership, teamwork, decision-making and adaptability.

The webinar successfully provided students with a broad understanding of the diverse career opportunities in the defence sector, including military roles and high-tech positions. It also stressed the growing need for professionals in fields such as technology, cyber security and logistics, as the sector increasingly relies on advanced technologies.
