On 18 December 2024, the Vijay Diwas ceremony, organized by Shaheed Smarak Sanstha, honored the martyrs from Gautam Budh Nagar. The event was graced by Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, who was the Chief Guest, along with armed forces officers, Next of Kins (NOKs), veterans and local community members.

Army Public School, NOIDA was represented by Brigadier Harbir Singh, Chairman; Principal Ms. Indrani Neogi; and five teachers. The Principal, accompanied by Head Prefects Avi Shukla and Dev Aditya Singh, and Sports Prefect Shreya Hooda, laid wreaths to pay tribute to the martyrs on behalf of the school.

The APS NOIDA choir performed patriotic songs, adding a solemn tone to the ceremony. Additionally, 20 student volunteers assisted with event logistics, showcasing dedication and responsibility. The Chief Guest commended the school’s choir and volunteers, presenting them with tokens of appreciation. The Chief Guest expressed gratitude for the school’s ongoing support to the community and veterans, highlighting the importance of honoring the sacrifices made by the martyrs.
