The school
commemorated India’s 76th Republic Day
with a series of patriotic events on 24 and 26 January 2025.
The Primary Wing conducted a special assembly that commenced
with a prayer, a patriotic song by the choir, and an action
song. Students delivered insightful speeches on the
significance of Republic Day and national symbols, while the dance group’s performance added to the celebratory
spirit. The event concluded with an address by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of kindness, responsibility and national pride.
The Class VI Special Assembly blended tradition and patriotism, beginning with the lighting of
the lamp and a prayer song. A talk on Republic Day was followed
by ‘Hein Naman Unko’, a tribute to national martyrs, recited
by Akshat Dhyani (Class
VI). A skit on civic responsibilities
and a classical dance performance highlighting unity
further enriched the program. The event also featured a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing student
achievements. In her address, the Principal emphasized the
significance of responsible citizenship, and the assembly
concluded with the National Anthem.
On 26 January 2025, the school hosted the Republic Day
celebrations with the flag hoisting ceremony led by
Principal Ms. Indrani Neogi, accompanied by patriotic songs by the school choir. NCC cadets saluted the National Flag
and hostellers presented cultural performances,
including ‘Dharti Mata’ and ‘Meri Mitti’, celebrating India's heritage and
freedom. Akshat Dhyani’s recital of ‘Hein Naman Unko’
resonated deeply with the audience, fostering a sense of
patriotism. The event concluded with the Principal’s address,
urging students to uphold the values of responsibility, respect, and
national integrity.
The
celebrations reinforced the school’s commitment to
fostering patriotism, unity and civic responsibility, leaving a
lasting impression on all participants.
