Arbor Vitae A Tribute to Family and Resilience at APS NOIDA

The Annual Day at Army Public School, NOIDA, was a two-day celebration showcasing the achievements and talents of students and staff. The event was graced by Ms. Indrani Kaushal, officer of the Indian Economic Service (Batch of 1995), on the first day, while Major General Saiyed Qamar Ahmed (Retd.) attended as the Chief Guest on the second day, accompanied by Ms. Nishat Ahmed, an educationist, as the Special Guest.

Both days commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a welcome dance, followed by the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the guests. The Principal, Ms. Indrani Neogi, welcomed the dignitaries and parents, and the Annual Report was presented in a news segment, highlighting the school’s achievements.

The theme, "Arbor Vitae: The Tree of Life," emphasized strength, growth, and resilience within the family unit. The primary wing students showcased yoga and karate demonstrations, promoting physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Students from both primary and senior wings presented songs, dances and dramatic performances, addressing challenges posed by technology, individualism and materialism, and highlighting the need to strengthen family bonds.

The event included a prize distribution ceremony recognizing outstanding achievements of students and teachers. The Annual Day was a meaningful celebration of growth, community and values, reinforcing the importance of strong foundational principles in building a resilient society.
