Army Public School, Noida hosted its Annual English Book Exhibition from September 29 to October 1, 2022 in collaboration with the international children’s publisher Scholastic India. The foremost endeavour of the fair was to inculcate love for reading in the students. The venue for the exhibition was the assembly area of the school and it was inaugurated on September 29 by Mrs Priyanka Bhatkoti, Principal, Maxfort School, Dwarka and Mrs Jyoti Rana, Principal, Army Public School, Noida. The guests browsed through the fair and the representative of the publisher, Ms Bhoomika, presented the guests with a sapling and a book each. A special attraction of the fair was the anthology authored by the students of the school called Seven‘teen’ Tales which was given a special display. The fair displayed books of diverse interest for the students and all sections of classes I-IX browsed in the fair guided by their teachers of English. The students made their wish list for purchase with their parents during the PTM scheduled on October 01, 2022. The fair was also visited by the teachers of English who were attending the CBSE Capacity Building Programme (English Core) for which our school was the venue. The book exhibition came to an end on October 01 on PTM day. The students browsed and bought books of their choice in the fair and a total sale of Rs. 1,81,099/- and the school was given an incentive of Rs. 25,467/- as books.
