The students of class XI of Army Public School, Noida hosted its Farewell function Viva la Vida – 2023 for the outgoing batch of students of class XII on December 29, 2022. The chief guest for the function was Col Vivek Sharma, Deputy Commander 261 Arty Brigade and guest of honour was ma’am Kajal Sharma. A few members of the alumni were also invited to interact with the outgoing batch - Mr Sameer Jain, Vice President, E-Commerce Division, Max Life Insurance from the batch of 2001, Miss Arushi Sharma, a public health expert from the Batch 2015 and Miss Niharika Suri from the Batch 2018, a budding psychologist. The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and welcome dance of Durga Stuti to invoke the mother goddess – the fount of our existence. The principal of the school, Ms. Jyoti Rana, presented the opening address to welcome the chief guest and other revered guests who edified the occasion with their benevolent presence. The talented students of class XI presented a joyous cultural programme of music and dance with foot tapping melody of the choir and band. The teachers’ choir sang inspirational songs to motivate students upon their path of duty and perseverance.  Besides, the cultural show, each student of class XII was presented with a memento and  a citation was read out and the light of knowledge was lit by each student.
