On 25 January 23 students of class VII got an opportunity to put forth a special assembly on the occasion of Basant Panchami to welcome the onset of the spring season and the Republic Day . The assembly commenced with the invocation of the Goddess Saraswati – The Goddess of of Knowledge and Wisdom by lighting of the lamp by the principal, teachers and a few students. The Thought for the day emphasized on the importance of Indian constitution. An informative discussion took place among the students in the form of dialogues. It was followed  by a patriotic  song sung by the choir. A beautiful poem 'Aya Vasant' was recited after that, followed by a skit on the significance of practice and perseverance. Principal  ma'am  addressed the house and asked some intriguing questions on the  Indian Republic. She guided the children on being good citizens.  The assembly culminated with the National Anthem.
