Army Public School, Noida,
celebrated the 75th Republic Day with pride and reverence on 26
January 2024 to mark the adoption of India's constitution and the country's
transition to a republic on this day in 1950. The programme started when Mrs.
Vandana Chawla, PGT Economics and senior faculty member, unfurled the National
Tricolour as a gathering of students, NCC cadets, teachers, and other staff of
the school paid respect to the motherland by singing the National Anthem,
saluting the national flag. The students presented their thoughts on Republic
Day and delivered a speech in Hindi. Next, they presented patriotic songs that
filled the atmosphere with patriotic zeal to commemorate the nation’s
sovereignty.
Mrs.
Geeta Patwal, Hindi Teacher, greeted the students and urged everyone to work
consciously in harmony for the peace and progress of our nation. She read out
the message from the State Minister of Secondary Education, UP, in which he
conveyed his wishes to everyone on Republic Day and announced the achievements
of the ministry and plans for the secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh. Following
this, the students presented a spectacular dance performance on a medley of
patriotic songs.
The celebration instilled a sense of belonging
to the country with an understanding of the sacrifices made by our freedom
fighters who laid the foundation for the formation of the Indian republic and
its constitution.
