The students of classes 4-12 went for an educational excursion to the India Head Office of the eminent publisher Scholastic India Ltd (located at A-27 Ground floor, Infocity 1, Sector 34, Gurgaon) on 12 October 2023. This visit was on an invitation extended to the school for our ongoing engagement with the publisher. There were 38 students who went for this trip – all handpicked by the teachers of English based on their flair for writing of the students and their interest in reading. The students were accompanied by Mrs SK Manimekalai, PGT English and Mrs Indrani Neogi, PGT English.

The publishers were delighted to meet students and were highly impressed by their queries and the quest for knowledge. Looking at the students' enthusiasm, an interesting challenge was given to them. They have been invited to submit an original story idea in 250 words. The best 2 participants have been promised a book hamper from Scholastic.

It was a highly successful visit as it encouraged the students to keep reading and keep writing their thoughts and ideas.
