In a celebration of linguistic
prowess, knowledge, and critical thinking, the school hosted the AWES National
Level Hindi Debate Competition. The event drew participants and spectators from
the APSs PAN India, making it a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas with
Hindi as a medium of intellectual discourse. Lt Gen GL Bakshi, PVSM (Retd),
Chairman, Noida Shaheed Samarak Sanstha presided over the event as the Chief
Guest and Colonel Kamal Kumar Sharma was the guest of honour. Mrs Shraddha
Pandey, Mrs Shobha Madhwal and Mrs Nirmala Rathore were the sagacious judges of
the debate competition. The topic of the debate was "राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 अकादमिक
वगैर अकादमिक विषयों की समानता पर ज़ोर डालती है। इस परिपेक्ष में देश में बढ़ती बेरोज़गारी
वास्तविकता है या कौशल की कमी" (The
National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes equality between academic and
non-academic subjects, In this context, does the increasing unemployment in the
country result from a lack of skills?). The participants speaking for and
against the motion of the topic showcased their eloquence, critical thinking,
and research skills, making it a riveting intellectual showdown. After the
intense debate between the participants the Chief Guest, Lt Gen (Retd) G L
Bakshi, Col KK Sharma and Principal APS Noida, Mrs Jyoti Rana presented the
cash prizes to the winning teams. APS No. 1 Jabalpur won the First Prize and
APS Mathura was the Runners Up. The Best Speakers For and Against were Tanusri
of APS Hisar and Richa Kumari of APS Bolarum, respectively. The Best
Interjector was Sankit of APS Mathura. In his keynote address, Lt Gen GL Bakshi
emphasised on the importance of never giving up, the value of hard work,
dedication, and the pursuit of knowledge. The event culminated as Samanvay
Tyagi of Class XI presented the vote of thanks.
