Oxford
Big Read Global Contest is a reading competition for primary and secondary
school students in India. The contest has extended to international schools for
the fourth year. The students who participate in the competition are required
to read Oxford University Press (OUP) Readers and do different age-wise
activities based on the levels they belong to. Shortlisted students will be
decided by their respective schools, and their entries will be sent to OUP
offices for the final selection. All students from classes I-IX, studying in
schools of India, were eligible to join the Oxford Big Read Global competition.
The classes are divided into three categories: Level 1: classes I-III; Level 2:
classes IV-VI; & Level 3: classes VII-IX.
