On 11 November 2024, an All India intra-school painting competition was organized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, India, at Army Public School, NOIDA under the PM - Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana. The competition, themed "Solar Energy Powering a Sustainable Future," aimed to raise awareness about the importance of solar energy while fostering creativity among students.

The objective of the SOLART initiative was to educate students about the benefits of solar energy and encourage them to think about sustainable energy solutions. The competition saw active participation from students of Classes III-V, who demonstrated their understanding of solar energy and its role in ensuring a sustainable future.

Aradhya Mishra secured the first position, while Viraj Balyan of Class V achieved second place in the event.

The competition successfully combined artistic expression with the promotion of renewable energy, offering students an opportunity to engage with an important environmental cause and gain a deeper understanding of the role of solar energy in sustainability.
