An educational tour to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum was
organized for the students of Class
VIII on 26 December 2024.
The museum complex, which includes the Garages
Museum, Clock Tower and Stables Museum, provided students with
valuable insights into the lives of India's presidents and the nation’s
struggle for independence. The museum also displays over 11,000 gifts presented to Indian
presidents by foreign heads of state, reflecting the country’s diplomatic
relations.
Students toured various sections of the
museum, which exhibited photographs, personal belongings, gifts and awards
received by presidents over the years. The visit offered a comprehensive
understanding of the art, culture, environment and heritage associated with
Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The students showed keen interest as they
engaged with the museum guide, exploring the artifacts and paintings on
display. The tour concluded with an interactive, technology-supported
storytelling session on the life of Mahatma
Gandhi, which left a lasting impact on the audience. This visit served
as an enriching educational experience, enhancing students' knowledge of
India’s history and cultural heritage.
