The school organized Mathematics Week from 17 to 20 December 2024, with the goal of engaging students through various creative and intellectual activities. The event featured a range of hands-on activities across different grade levels, designed to highlight the importance of mathematics. Activities included Numerical Knockout (Class I), 2D Shapers (Class II), Fraction Art (Class III), Clay and Stick Creation (Class IV), Math Marathon (Class V) and Pattern Pandemonium (Class VIII), among others. Each activity aimed to reinforce mathematical concepts in a fun, interactive manner, with a focus on shapes, fractions and geometry.

On 20 December, ‘Bagless Day’ for Classes VI-VIII allowed students to participate in math-based outdoor games like Maths Dodgeball, Maths Basketball and Human Geometry, combining physical movement with math. The day also featured a workshop by Ms. Ishita Mukherjee, an experienced mathematics educator and CBSE Master Trainer, who led students through problem-solving challenges and math puzzles to enhance critical thinking.

During the Parent-Teacher Meeting on 21 December, the Mathematics Department held an exhibition showcasing students’ work. Highlights included Symmetry Safari (Class VII), Pattern Pandemonium (Class VIII) and Math-based games such as Bounce-O-Matic and Brainy Creations. These exhibits provided a creative platform for students to explore mathematical concepts through art and interactive challenges. The event successfully showcased the beauty and creativity of mathematics, fostering a deeper appreciation among students and parents alike.
