Army Public
School, NOIDA, participated in the Vigyantaram Robotics National
Level Championship at IIT Delhi,
organized in collaboration with Enactus, IIT Delhi.
The competition featured four categories—Little Champs Robotics,
Quadcopter Championship, Innovation Championship and Robotics Championship—with
over 160 schools from across India
competing. Two teams from APS NOIDA
presented innovative working prototypes
and qualified for the final round on 11-12 January 2025
at IIT Delhi.
Team 1 developed Humdum, an
innovation designed to assist senior citizens with mobility, comprising Aryan Jindal, Adamya Prakash Mittal, Bhavya Ghai, Nikunj (all from class
IX-A) and Divit Singh (VIII-A). Team 2
created Vrinda Patra, a project aimed at protecting the Tulsi plant in extreme conditions, developed by Devansh Tiwari, Sai (both VII-A), Utkarsh Gaur, Maanit Shrivastava and
Harshika Choudhary (all from class VI-C). Team 2 won a trophy in the Special Social
Impact Innovation Category, recognizing their contribution to
sustainability.
Mentors Ms. Sneh Bhardwaj (TGT Computer Science) and Ms. Shaili Singh (PGT Computer Science) received a Token of Honour for their guidance. The achievement
underscores APS NOIDA’s commitment to innovation, technology
and problem-solving, fostering a culture of creativity and
excellence.
