Army Public
School, NOIDA, actively participated in the Save
Wetlands Campaign through a series of initiatives promoting
environmental awareness and conservation.
On 8 January 2025, a special assembly was conducted to
highlight the ecological significance of wetlands. Students and staff took a pledge to educate others, reduce waste near wetlands,
support conservation efforts and advocate for sustainable practices.
On 13 January 2025, students of Class IX led an awareness rally
in nearby areas, carrying placards with impactful slogans such as "Save Wetlands, Save Life" and "Protect Nature’s Kidneys." The initiative
received strong community support, reinforcing the importance of wetland
conservation.
On 18 January 2025, students from Classes III-VIII participated in an art competition on the theme "Conservation of Wetlands." The paintings
depicted marshlands, mangroves and biodiversity, emphasizing the need for
protection. Selected artworks were displayed in school and submitted for a
local environmental competition.
The campaign
reinforced the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability,
encouraging students to take active roles in conservation efforts.
