Army Public
School, NOIDA, remains steadfast in its commitment to raising awareness about
the adverse effects of tobacco use and fostering a tobacco-free environment. As
part of this ongoing initiative, an essay writing competition
on the theme “Ways to Make My School Tobacco-Free”
was conducted on 21 January 2025.
Students
actively participated, offering thoughtful recommendations such as conducting
regular awareness sessions and engaging in classroom discussions to address the
issue. Among the submissions, the essays by Anika
Mishra, Ananya Gulia and Amrita Kumari were adjudged the top
three. This initiative reinforced the importance of leading a healthy, tobacco-free
lifestyle and emphasized the collective responsibility of creating a safer
school environment.
