On May 7, 2025, Army Public School, Noida
carried out a comprehensive Civil
Defence Mock Drill aimed at reinforcing emergency response
protocols and ensuring disaster-readiness across the school community. The
exercise was designed to simulate a real-time emergency scenario and evaluate
the preparedness of students, faculty, and support staff.
The drill commenced with an initial siren, prompting
immediate shelter-in-place actions, followed by the execution of the Duck-Cover-Hold
protocol. A second siren signaled safe evacuation, during which students were
guided to pre-identified zones under close supervision. Attendance was
meticulously recorded, and both the Principal

charge addressed the participants, offering guidance and
reflections on the process.
Active support from the NCC and NSS units ensured disciplined
coordination throughout. Emphasis was placed on calm conduct, adherence to
instructions, and avoiding unsafe behaviours. The drill concluded with a strong
affirmation of the school’s commitment to maintaining a safe and responsive
learning environment.
