The Western Command Inter APS Football
(Girls U-17) Tournament was successfully hosted by Army Public School, Noida,
from 9th to 11th July 2025. The much-awaited event brought
together young footballers from across the Command, showcasing passion, skill,
and team spirit.
After three days of exciting matches, APS
Noida lifted the championship trophy, while APS Kandrori
secured the runner-up position, followed by APS Ambala in
third place and APS Tibri (Gurdaspur) in fourth. With
this victory, APS Noida will now compete in the prestigious Subroto Cup.
The closing and award ceremony
on 11th July 2025 was graced by the Chairman, APS Noida, as
the Chief Guest, and Mr. Kunwar Rudransh Singh, an
international-level footballer and proud alumnus of the school, as the Guest of
Honour. Both dignitaries, along with the Principal, Ms. Indrani Neogi,
felicitated the teams with trophies and medals.
Individual excellence was also
recognized: Samriddhi Tripathi (APS Noida) was named Best
Defender, Priyanshi (APS Kandrori) was awarded Best
Goalkeeper, and Harshita Baneshi (APS Noida) was declared
Best Player of the Tournament.
The Chief Guest encouraged all
participants, while Mr. Singh shared inspiring experiences on perseverance and
sportsmanship. The tournament stood out as a true celebration of talent,
unity, and resilience, marking a proud milestone in APS Noida’s
sporting achievements.
