Army Public School, Noida hosted the U-17 Inter School District Girls Basketball Tournament 2022 from 18 to 21 July 2022 where 8 teams from prestigious schools of Gautam Budh Nagar contested for the trophy.  The Chief Guest for the closing ceremony was Mr. Vikram Duggal, General Secretary of Basketball Association, Gautam Budh Nagar. The semi-finals as well as the finals were played on the final day. In the first semi-final, Army Public School, Noida defeated Lotus Valley School, Noida by 39-14. In the second semi-final, Delhi Public School, Noida defeated Father Agnel School, Noida by 17-12. This was followed by the third position match in which Father Agnel School, Noida defeated Lotus Valley School, Noida by 15 – 10.  All teams played with full enthusiasm. Army Public School, Noida clinched the first place beating Delhi Public School, Noida with a score of 30-06.The pulsating finals witnessed some great dribbling, passing and shooting by the both teams. 

The Chief guest, Mr. Vikram Duggal gave away the prizes to the winners along with Mrs. Jyoti Rana, Principal and Mrs. Rama Srinivasan, Vice-Principal, Army Public School, Noida. The award for the Most Upcoming Player was won by Adveya from Delhi Public School, Noida and the Best Defender award went to  Rhea, Father Agnel School, Noida. The Most Valuable Player was awarded to Kamakshee Chaudhary, Army Public School, Army Public School, Noida. Army Public School, Noida looks Noida and the Highest Scorer of the Tournament was Aanavi Vidya Anand, forward to organizing more such tournaments in the future to develop confidence in our future champions.
