Army Public School, Noida
proudly hosted the AWES National Hindi Debate – 2025 on 12
August, bringing together talented debaters from APS Jalandhar Cantt,
Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj (Old Cantt), Bathinda, and Sukna. The
thought-provoking motion “देश में तेजी से बढ़ते कोचिंग संस्थान
शिक्षा के लिए हानिकारक हैं” encouraged participants to showcase their eloquence,
reasoning, and critical thinking. The event was honoured by the presence of Maj
Gen PR Murali, VSM (Retd.) as the Chief Guest, while distinguished
Hindi authors Ms. Sumita Pandey, Ms. Shobha Madhwal, and Ms. Shradha
Pandey served as judges.
The competition witnessed
remarkable performances, with APS Bathinda (South West Command)
winning First Place, APS Jhansi (Southern Command) securing
Second, and APS Gorakhpur (Central Command) taking Third. APS
Jalandhar, APS Old Cantt Prayagraj, and APS Sukna
were placed Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth respectively.
Individual accolades added
further prestige. Ashvi Singh Parmar (APS Bathinda) was
declared Best Speaker (For), and Kishan Singh (APS Jhansi)
earned Best Speaker (Against). Samandram Prince Singh (APS
Bathinda) won Best Interjector, while Rishabh
Dwivedi, Aditya Singh, and Shivangi Yadav received
honours as second-best speakers and interjector.
The event concluded with a Vote of
Thanks by Anika Mishra (Class XII) and the National Anthem,
marking a memorable celebration of intellect, articulation, and national pride.
