The Sign
Language Day Conference was held on 23 September 2025 at
the Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC), New Delhi,
as part of the International Week of the Deaf. Ms Indrani
Neogi (Principal) and Ms Kritika Dogra (Special Educator)
represented APS Noida, engaging with educators and officials to explore ways to
integrate Indian Sign Language (ISL) into school practices.
The event,
inaugurated by Shri Kumar Raju, Director, ISLRTC, and graced
by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister for Social Justice and
Empowerment, launched key ISL initiatives, including a repository of
3,000 e-videos, STEM term translations, and ISL-format
NBT books. Cultural performances and discussions reinforced ISL’s role
in promoting accessibility and inclusive education nationwide.
