Social Science Week was organised from 26–28 November
2025 to promote experiential and application-based learning for students of
Classes VI–XI. The programme began with a Constitution Day assembly
highlighting democratic values and the making of the Indian Constitution. A
Bagless Day for Classes VI–VIII featured a puppet show and a tribal mask-making
workshop, encouraging creative, hands-on learning beyond textbooks.
Class VI students explored Democratic Participation through mock
elections, poster making and slogan writing. Class VII examined Markets Around Us by
studying different market forms, consumer rights and role-play activities.
Class VIII focused on Environment
Warriors, creating posters and models on climate action. Class IX
undertook an interdisciplinary project on Forests
and Society. Class X researched Globalization
and Economic Development, while Class XI conducted a symposium on Society in 2050. A
heritage quiz further enriched learning, fostering critical thinking,
creativity and responsible citizenship.
