Army Public School, NOIDA hosted an Inter School Girls District Football Tournament from 27 to 30 September 2022 where 12 teams from prestigious schools of Gautam Buddh Nagar contested for the trophy. The tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Wazid Ali, Honorary Secretary of Gautam Buddh Nagar District Football Association along with the guest of honour, Shri Bhuvan Joshi, Member Gautam Buddh Nagar District Football Association and Mrs. Jyoti Rana, Principal APS, Noida. The participating teams exhibited an intense display of talent and skills. The Chief Guest, Mr. B.S. Sharma, a social worker, who works for the development of sports and wellbeing of young people of Gautam Buddh Nagar along with the Guest of Honour, Shri Wazid Ali, Honorary Secretary of Gautam Buddh Nagar District Football Association, graced the occasion. In the final match, Step By Step School, Noida clinched the first position by beating Army Public School, Noida with a score of 5-0. The third position was bagged by The Shriram Millennium School, Noida by defeating Pathways School, Noida by a score of 2-1.
