Army Public School, Noida participated in shramdaan for ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan’ - a nationwide campaign dedicated towards cleaning up of water bodies. Students of class VIII A represented the school in this campaign .On 29 Sept 2022, 25 students of class VIII along with teachers Mrs Ritika Srivastava and Mr Abhishek Sharma of APS Noida visited Yamuna river banks on Kalindi Kunj Ghat and a cleanliness drive was conducted. Large area was cleaned and garbage along with plastic bottles and polythene bags was removed. This collected waste (approximately 10 kg) was handed over to NGO ECPFO (The Environmental and Consumer Protection Foundation) for recycling. Students were sensitized about importance of water bodies and how to preserve natural resources. It was a fruitful and good learning experience for students.
