15^th Shaheed Captain Vijayant Thapar Memorial Inter School Boys’ Football Tournament was organized by APS, NOIDA during 09 – 13 Oct 2023.The Inaugural Ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Vashisht, AVSM, VSM and Bar. The other eminent guests were Col VN Thapar, Mrs Anita Arora, Mr. BS Sharma and Mr Azad Singh, who graced the occasion with their presence. APS, NOIDA organises this tournament every year in memory of young brave Capt. Vijayant Thapar who laid down his life for the nation. This tournament is one of the Delhi-NCR's top sports event that produced several players who have excelled in the sports at both national as well as international levels. This year twelve teams of different schools from Delhi/NCR played for the highly coveted trophy.

The closing ceremony of a five-day tournament was held on the last day i.e. 13 Oct 2023. The Special Guest for the ceremony was Mr Mahendra Singh Bisht, Secretary of Warrior Football Club, affiliated to Delhi Soccer Association. The parents of Capt. Vijayant Thapar, Colonel V.N. Thapar and Mrs Tripta Thapar were also present to grace the occasion. The tournament was concluded after the felicitation of the winners by the Chief Guest Lt. Gen. SK Singh (Retd.), PVSM, UYSM, VSM, and Executive Director of Shaheed Smarak Sanstha.
